Charleston Adventure Forest Wins Best Climbing Wall in Lowcountry Parent Mom’s Choice Awards

Charleston Adventure Forest has been recognized in the Lowcountry Parent Mom’s Choice Awards, winning Best Climbing Wall.
And we’re proud to have played a part in it.
Challenge Design Innovations built the climbing wall at Charleston Adventure Forest, an outdoor adventure destination in Awendaw, South Carolina. The park offers ziplining, a kids’ zipline course, climbing, blacksmithing, animal encounters, camps, birthday parties, and group outings.
The climbing wall is a major part of that experience. Charleston Adventure Forest describes it as a 65-foot outdoor climbing wall, and other local coverage has noted that guests can climb up and rappel down.
A climbing wall is not just something to “do” for a few minutes. It gives kids, teens, and adults a chance to build confidence, test themselves, encourage each other, and walk away with a story.
That is what we love about projects like this.
A good climbing wall should be fun, but it should also feel solid, intentional, and built for real use. The height, layout, access, operations, guest flow, and staff visibility all matter.
Congratulations to Charleston Adventure Forest on winning Best Climbing Wall. The team at CAF is great and clearly that is why they won this award. We’re glad to see this CDI-built feature recognized by Lowcountry families.
