NY Post Highlights CDI-Built KidZip at Adventure Center of Asheville

We are thrilled to see our work at the Adventure Center of Asheville highlighted in the New York Post this week! In their latest feature, “Wild side: Countryside escapes that kids will love,” the Post recognizes Asheville as a top-tier destination for families seeking a mix of mountain charm and high-flying excitement.

The article gives a special shout-out to a project very dear to our hearts: KidZip.

As the Post mentions, the Adventure Center of Asheville offers a kid-friendly zipline experience specifically designed for ages 4 to 10. At Challenge Design Innovations (CDI), we take immense pride in having designed and built this specialized course.

Crafting a World-Class Adventure

Our partnership with the Adventure Center of Asheville goes beyond just the little ones. CDI is the team behind the entire aerial footprint at the park, including:

  • KidZip: America’s first zipline adventure designed specifically for younger children, featuring 9 ziplines and 4 climbing elements.
  • Asheville Treetops Adventure Park: An aerial obstacle course with over 77 unique challenges.
  • Zipline Canopy Tours: A premier urban canopy tour that offers sweeping views of the Asheville skyline.

Safety and Innovation First

Designing for children requires a precise balance of "big-kid" thrills and uncompromising safety. When we built KidZip, our goal was to create a gateway to the outdoors that builds confidence in young adventurers. Seeing it recognized by a national publication like the New York Post validates our mission: to craft world-class aerial experiences that bring families together.

Whether you are a developer looking to build the next award-winning park or a family looking for your next weekend getaway, we invite you to see our work in action in Asheville.
